Ainalez Lopez M.S. CCC-SLP
Ainalez Lopez is a bilingual in Spanish Speech and Language Pathologist. She is licensed by the Department of Health of Florida and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association(ASHA).
She attended Carlos Albizu University in Puerto Rico and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy and her Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology.
With over 20 years of experience , Ainalez has had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations and disorders. She also has gained experience working as a speech-language pathologist performing diagnosis and treatment in a variety of settings including early intervention, schools, private practice, outpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing facilities and home health services. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and their families.
At the beginning of her career, Ainalez has had the opportunity to work with Bilinguals, INC. in New York City where she provided in-home services as an early intervention specialist for children 0-3 years old with developmental delays. She educated and trained Hispanic families with diverse cultural backgrounds and assisted them to access available resources in their community to ensure children reach developmental milestones for their age.
Ainalez has had the experience to professionally work with children with Developmental Delays, Feeding/Oral Motor Disorders, Down Syndrome, Sensory deficits, Autism spectrum disorders, Language-Based Literacy Disorders, Pragmatic disorders, Fluency Disorders, Medically Fragile Children, and Articulation/Phonological Disorders. She has been part of interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, teachers, social services, clinical staff and family members to facilitate a holistic approach to meet goals across all aspects of intervention.
Her experience with adults includes evaluation and treatment of oropharyngeal dysphagia, G tube feedings, cognitive-linguistic deficits, voice disorders, aphasia, dysarthria, language and communication disorders as the result of neurogenic disorders and neurodegenerative disease. Ainalez has cultivated compassion and interest to develop innovative treatment approaches for patients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia disease.
Ainalez is excited to have joined a great team at Togetherness and is passionate to give back to the Hispanic community of children and adults special needs. She is dedicated to providing a supported environment and fostering strong trusting relationships in order to encourage learning of new skills and to enhance overall communication for patients and families.
Outside of work, Ainalez love spending fun time with her family, practicing aerial and acro yoga, living a holistic lifestyle and going on vacations. She is looking forward to work with you and your child.
Recently, Ainalez has accomplished another milestone in her career by getting training and certification to be an ADOS-2 provider with the purpose of identify and provide support to children and young adults on the autism spectrum.
