Caroline Root
Caroline Root is a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist who is dedicated to inspiring wellness transformations through nutrition and lifestyle change. She is passionate about person-centered nutrition, and especially incorporating the cultural variations that are appreciated in South Florida. Through motivational interviewing, she is dedicated to helping patients develop realistic nutrition and wellness plans to achieve their personal best and to reduce barriers to change. Her medical education started in high school, becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant and working early on her Associate’s degree her senior year. She then obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Avila University in Biological Sciences, a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Nova Southeastern University, and multiple dietetic internships in the areas of community, food service, and clinical nutrition. Through independently studying root-cause pathophysiology and holistic nutrition, she is devoted to advocating for her patient’s health and encourages them to be an advocate of their own.
