Originally from Dearborn, MI, Hans has a passion for sports and helping people, which has culminated into his career in sports medicine. As a father of 3, Hans found this passion while coaching his oldest daughters’ youth soccer team for several years. Hans has a Bachelors’ degree in Athletic Training from Florida Gulf Coast University, and also earned his Masters’ degree in Health Science Education from Florida Gulf Coast University.

Hans has worked in a variety of settings that contribute to his overall experience as an athletic trainer. He spent a year working with the Boston Red Sox where he gained extensive knowledge and experience in working with a variety of injuries, and helped to implement preventative maintenance techniques to help avoid injuries in professional athletes. Hans was also Head Athletic Trainer at Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers, FL for several years, and at Palmetto Ridge High School in Naples, FL for several years. He also has experience working in an orthopedic rehabilitation clinic for several years where he was tasked with implementing rehabilitation protocols for post and pre surgical patients for a wide variety of injuries.

Hans now works as Head Athletic Trainer at Seacrest Country Day School where he is in charge of developing and implementing rehabilitation and preventative protocols for all athletes across a variety of sports.

Additional Information: Hans resides with his wife, Amanda and 2 kids in Estero, FL and also has a daughter who is studying Nursing at the University of Central Florida.
