Jessica Sander is a 15 year veteran in the fitness industry, starting with an extensive background in dance and Pilates.
Originally from Stamford, CT, Jessica graduated Cum Laude from Towson University in Baltimore, MD. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Education. While at Towson, Jessica taught dance classes in studios and schools. Her students ranged from 3 years old to over 70.
After graduating, Jessica moved to New York City to pursue her dance career while working in fitness in order to make ends meet. After Jessica retired from dance, she dove head first into the fitness industry working in various roles such as personal trainer, group fitness instructor, lead Pilates coach and group exercise manager. Prior to the pandemic, Jessica spent over 5 years at the largest health club in NYC, Chelsea Piers Fitness.
After 13 years, she decided it was time for a change and made her way to the Sunshine State!
Jessica specializes in functional training techniques that enable her clients to move better through improved strength and flexibility. As a fully comprehensive Pilates instructor, she is a strong believer of the practice for people of any age and fitness level. One of her main areas of expertise in Pilates is working with athletes and clients who are in or just completed physical therapy.
Training sessions are individualized and focus on proper form to increase efficiency in daily activity, especially post injury. Jessica believes that through proper form, alignment and coaching, the body is capable of achieving anything the mind is set to do. Clients will gain precision, discipline and mind body awareness during their workouts to allow for more efficient movement patterns no matter what their fitness goal may be.
