Lindsay Dessources, MS, OTR/L

Immokalee, FL – Core Health Partners (CHP), a nationally recognized leader in health equity and chronic disease management, is thrilled to announce that Lindsay Dessources, MS, OTR/L, has joined their team. A longtime resident of Immokalee, Lindsay returns to her roots with a deep passion for helping individuals recover from traumatic events and manage chronic diseases, bringing with her an impressive educational background and a strong commitment to advocacy.

Lindsay’s journey toward Occupational Therapy was deeply personal. After witnessing her grandmother’s struggle to recover from a stroke, she became acutely aware of the lack of healthcare resources in underserved communities like Immokalee. This motivated her to pursue a career dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Sciences in Occupational Therapy, both from Florida International University in Miami. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Miami, further equipping her with cutting-edge knowledge and techniques to provide the best possible care.

“Returning to Immokalee to give back to the community that shaped me is a dream come true. I am committed to helping individuals here achieve better health outcomes through the care and education provided by Core Health Partners,” Lindsay shared. “The passion that CHP brings to improving health equity aligns perfectly with my own mission, and I am excited to be part of this dynamic team.”

Lindsay is National Board Certified in Occupational Therapy (OTR) and is licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Florida. Her extensive experience working with both pediatric and adult populations, coupled with her trilingual abilities (Haitian Creole, French, and English), makes her a vital resource for Immokalee’s diverse population.

Core Health Partners, headquartered in Immokalee, serves all of Collier County through several licensed centers, including both Collier County YMCAs and the Sanchez Academy in the Naples Bath and Tennis community. The organization has also made a lasting impact on early education preschool centers in Golden Gate and North Naples, serving countless children in need. Lindsay will solely focus on the Immokalee and Ave Maria area and will be located at the newly licensed clinic inside Immokalee’s Career Source building on South Fifth Steet.

“We are thrilled to have Lindsay join us in our mission to improve health outcomes and advance health equity in Immokalee and beyond,” said Dr. Carolina Castelli Figley, Chief Medical Officer of Core Health Partners. “Her passion, education, and dedication to underserved communities reflect the values we uphold at CHP.”
